Modified Muscle

The Titan 12T 550 modified motor pumps out incredible mod-motor power with virtually maintenance-free operation, and long-lasting performance. The Titan’s integrated cooling fan pulls cool air through vent tunnels molded into the motor plate to keep temperatures down. A cooler running motor equates to faster speeds, longer runtime, and extended motor life. The XL-5 Electronic Speed Control offers high current handling, EZ-Set® one-button setup, and smooth high-frequency control. Once reserved for high-end replacement ESCs, the XL-5 comes standard with three drive profiles, low voltage detection, thermal shutdown protection, gold-plated connectors, and incredibly low resistance. The patented Traxxas High-Current Connector opens the door for unrestricted current flow with today’s high-power batteries.

Clipless Body Mounting

Similar to the flagship E-Revo, the Rustler 4X4 uses a clipless body latching system for secure mounting and fast, one-handed removal and installation. The sleek, aerodynamic body features a rugged internal structure and external rollover protection for long life and Traxxas-Tough™ durability.

All-New Chassis

The all-new low-CG chassis positions the weight low for aggressive handling. The wheelbase has been lengthened 20 mm for the perfect balance of stability and quick response. The Titan motor’s massive power flows through a tough and efficient 4-wheel drive system with oil-filled steel-gear differentials and heavy-duty driveshafts.

What is a DC Charger?

A DC charger allows you to fast-charge your 5, 6, or 7 cell (6.0 – 8,4 volt) NiMH battery from a common 12v automotive power source.

If you do not have access to an automotive power source you’ll need to add the Traxxas 2976 – AC to DC Power Supply Adapter. Or you can add our Hub Hobby Generic AC to DC Adapter. These adapters let you plug your charger into a standard AC outlet at home or the track.

Alternatively, you can buy a Traxxas EZ-Peak Fast Charger and skip the adapter altogether. This would also allow for the use of Traxxas Lipo batteries.
